A recent survey showed 17% of people struggle to boil an egg, so I thought I’d show you just  how to cook the perfect boiled egg.

Perfectly poached

You’ve been boiling, scrambling and frying over the last few months, and the next masterclass is poaching eggs. Many people find this tricky but it just takes a little bit of practise. I did lots of poaching when I was preparing for the Eggs Factor regional finals, and I’m glad I got the hang of it as it’s such a nice way of eating eggs.
