Easter brunch

I’m looking forward to a weekend of catching up with friends and family and enjoying lots of good food. Eggs are obligatory in my house over the Easter weekend – both the traditional and chocolate kind – and I try to make a big brunch on Easter Sunday so the kids don’t overindulge on chocolate later.

There are so many brilliant brunch recipes that you can make with eggs. I like to do a big bake with all the essential ingredients: eggs, sausages, mushrooms, tomatoes and bacon – it’s really easy to just leave in the oven and it’s healthier than frying.

For other great brunch and baking recipes for Easter, check out the Eggs at Easter website.

PS: You can enter the competition to win £50 Marks & Spencer vouchers until 11 April. Click here to find out how to win.

Easter is fast approaching, and if you’re keen for some extra cash towards your shopping, check out this competition to find a golden egg hidden on the website. Five £50 Marks & Spencer vouchers are up for grabs.

The Eggs at Easter area is a new addition to the Britegg website, with lots of Easter-related activities. There is a guide to egg painting and games for kids, as well as brunch and baking recipes.

Keeping the kids busy during Easter can be tricky, but baking is always a popular with mine.  Here’s a recipe for delicious Easter muffins:
