The health benefits of eggs have hit the headlines recently. Just a few months ago, a report suggested that eggs are one of the most nutrient-dense foods that money can buy.
And there’s more good news for egg lovers as previous limits on egg consumption have been lifted by all major UK heart and health organisations. It is now known that the dietary cholesterol in eggs does not have a significant effect on blood cholesterol.
A lot of effort is going into informing health professionals of the correct advice, and next week British eggs will be exhibiting at the RCN Practice Nurse conference in Eastbourne.
