Four steps to frying
- Use a non-stick frying pan with just a dash of mild flavoured oil such as vegetable oil and place over a medium heat.
- When the oil is hot, crack the egg into the pan.
- Cook over a low to medium heat for 1 minute or until the white is set. Spoon the hot oil over the egg yolk and egg white until the yolk is cooked to your liking (around 1½ - 3 minutes)
- For over easy eggs, carefully slide a spatula underneath the cooked egg and flip over to cook the yolk for 1 minute.
